Bathroom renovations Barossa Valley & Gawler

Rough-in to fit-off for bathrooms, ensuites and powder rooms. Craig works in with your builder and tiler so the plumbing is ready at every stage.

Bathrooms Craig has plumbed

A few from around the Barossa. There are more on our work page.

How a bathroom job runs

  1. Plan and price

Craig looks at the layout with you and prices the plumbing. If you want the shower or toilet moved, he'll tell you what that involves.

  2. Strip-out and rough-in

Old fittings are capped off and removed. New water and waste pipes go in to suit the new layout, and are pressure-tested.

  3. Waterproofing and tiling

Your waterproofer and tiler do their part. Craig times his next visit around them.

  4. Fit-off

Taps, shower, bath, vanity and toilet connected, tested and left clean.

The fiddly bits

A lot of what makes a bathroom work is decided at rough-in, before a single tile goes on.

  • Showers. Mixers, rain heads and niches set out so they finish exactly where you want them.
  • Freestanding baths. Floor-mounted tapware plumbed through the slab before the floor goes down.
  • Vanities. Wall-hung or floor-standing, with the waste and taps set to suit the cabinet.
  • Toilets. Back-to-wall, wall-hung and in-wall cisterns.

Renovation questions

Can you work with my builder and tiler?

Yes. Craig works in with your builder, waterproofer and tiler and lines his visits up with theirs, so each stage is ready when the next trade arrives.

Can you move the shower or toilet?

Usually. Moving pipes and drainage is a normal part of a renovation. Craig checks the layout and the slab first and tells you what it involves before any work starts.

We're doing the kitchen and laundry too. Can you do them at the same time?

Yes. Sinks, dishwashers, laundry troughs and gas cooktops can be roughed in and fitted off on the same visits. See kitchen and laundry plumbing.

Who does the work?

Craig does. He's a master-qualified plumber and gas fitter (LIC PGE341299), and new pipework is pressure-tested before it's closed in.
