From the tank to the tap

Good tank water depends on every step between the roof and the tap. Craig can look after all of it.

  1. Step 1

    The tank

New tanks connected, old ones swapped over, and the supply line run to the house.

  2. Step 2

    The pump

Pressure pumps supplied, fitted, repaired and replaced, sized to suit the house.

  3. Step 3

    Filter and UV

Whole-house filtration and UV treatment for the water you drink and shower in.

  4. Step 4

    Your taps

Rainwater through to the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, toilets and hot water, with a mains changeover if you've got both.

Pump playing up?

Most tank water problems come back to the pump or the filter. Ring Craig if any of these sound familiar.

  • Weak showers, or pressure that drops when two taps are on.
  • The pump cycling on and off when nobody's using water.
  • The pump running without stopping, or not starting at all.
  • Cloudy or smelly water at the tap.
  • Air spitting out of the taps.

Rainwater questions

My pump has stopped. Can you replace it?

Yes. Craig tests it first. If it's worth repairing he'll tell you, and if it's finished he'll fit a new one sized for your house.

Can you set up tank water for drinking?

Craig installs whole-house filtration and UV treatment, which is the usual setup for drinking tank water. He'll suggest a system to suit your tank, roof and household.

Why is my pressure so bad on tank water?

Usually it's the pump: the wrong size, worn out, or a blocked filter in front of it. Sometimes it's the pipe from the tank. Craig finds out which before replacing anything.

Can you connect a new tank to the house?

Yes. The supply line, pump, filtration, and a changeover valve if you've got mains as well.
