Light Regional CouncilRoseworthy is best known for its agricultural college, opened in 1883 and the first of its kind in Australia. These days it’s also a growth town: the Roseworthy Township Expansion has three developers building across five housing estates, with the first slab poured in May 2021.
The older township is on Light Regional Council’s CWMS, so those houses drain to a septic tank on the block that connects to the council network.
Concordia
The Barossa Council growth areaConcordia sits between Gawler and the Barossa, about 20 minutes from our Williamstown base. It’s mostly farmland today, but The Barossa Council says 10,000 to 12,000 homes are proposed there over the next 30 years, and the state rezoning has been finalised.

Roseworthy is north of Gawler in Light Regional Council, with Concordia to the south-east, between Gawler and the Barossa.
