Plumber in Tanunda Stone cottages to newer homes

Plenty of Tanunda houses have stood for over a century, and the pipes under them show it. Craig works on old and new, from a leaking galv pipe to a full bathroom.

What we find in older Tanunda homes

Plenty of houses in town have a few decades on their pipes. This is what usually turns up.

  1. Galvanised water pipe

Old galv rusts from the inside. Low pressure or brown water at the taps usually means it's time for new pipe.

  2. Clay sewer lines

Older clay pipes have joints that tree roots can get into. The jetter clears them, and the drain camera shows where they got in.

  3. Pipe through stone walls

Running new pipe through thick stone takes more planning than a new build. Craig works out the route with you first.

Fit-offs in the bathroom

A bathroom renovation is a good time to renew the old pipework behind the walls too.

Good to know in Tanunda

Should I replace old galv pipe or keep patching it?

If it leaks in more than one place or the pressure has dropped, replacing it usually works out cheaper in the long run than patching it again.

Do you only work on old houses?

Newer homes get the same care, from a dripping mixer to a whole new kitchen.

How do I get a price?
