What should I do if I smell gas?

Do I need a licensed gas fitter to swap a cooktop?

Yes. In South Australia any gas fitting work, even connecting a cooktop, has to be done by a licensed gas fitter. Craig's licence number is PGE341299, and all his gas work is carried out to Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 5601.1.

Will I get a Certificate of Compliance?

Yes, where one applies. Gas installations are inspected and tested as required, and Craig provides an electronic Certificate of Compliance for homes and businesses.
