Irrigation lines Barossa Valley

New lines and repairs

New irrigation lines put in and broken ones repaired, for gardens, rural blocks and wastewater dispersal areas across the Barossa. Craig runs the line, makes the connections and tests it before he leaves.

Irrigation installation and repairs

An irrigation line is just plumbing that runs outdoors, and it fails the same ways: a split, a cracked fitting, a joint that lets go, or a line that a spade or a root has found. Craig installs new lines and fixes the ones that have stopped doing their job.

  • New irrigation lines trenched and laid for gardens, paddocks and rural blocks.
  • Connections to a rainwater tank and pump or to the mains supply.
  • Repairs to split, crushed or leaking lines and fittings.
  • Wastewater irrigation lines on onsite systems, laid as the approved design sets out.

Is your irrigation line leaking?

What you might notice

Signs of a leak or break
  • A wet or boggy patch that never dries out.
  • Low pressure at the far end of the line.
  • A tank pump running when nothing is turned on.
  • A water bill that has jumped for no reason.

What Craig does

Find it, fix it, test it
  • Isolates sections to narrow down where the water is going.
  • Digs down to the damaged length or fitting.
  • Repairs or replaces the pipe and fittings.
  • Tests the line under pressure before it’s backfilled.

Irrigation lines on a wastewater system

Some onsite wastewater systems disperse treated water through irrigation lines rather than soakage trenches. Those lines have to be laid where the approved design puts them, and kept separate from the drinking water supply.

The hero photo on this page is one of those jobs: a new line going in beside a country church, as part of a septic job. If you’re putting in a new system, see septic tank installation. If an existing system’s lines are blocked or broken, see septic repairs.
